
Education
Somewhat unusually for a lawyer, Margot has a Honours Bachelor of Science with Distinction from the University of Toronto. Margot was called to the bar in June 2018.
Practice
Prior to becoming an associate at Stern Landesman Clark LLP, Margot practised at a boutique intellectual property law firm, worked on policy matters with a former Director of the Legal Branch of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and assisted a forensic accountant in a variety of matters.
Publications
Margot Davis has been published in several industry publications, including The Lawyer’s Daily, Without Prejudice, and Canadian Lawyer Magazine. Margot also authored the chapters on the Ontario Land Tribunal and the Condominium Authority Tribunal for Emond’s Tribunal Practice and Procedure, 2nd edition. She is currently co-authoring a book about fraud and money laundering.
Public Service
Aware of her duty to the broader community, Margot has volunteered with Lawyers Feed the Hungry since 2015.
